I was hoping someone could help me.

I'm teaching a computer class for a client on Tuesday. It's at their office, but they're giving me no help in arrangements. The office is in the Empire State building. Which airport should I fly into? Which hotel should I stay in?

Thanks - any help anyone could give would be great!

i would fly into LGA usually find cheaper tickets then if you fly into kennedy

as far as hotels i really dont have much to offer there, maybe check out one of those travel deal sites (expedia, hotwire, ect.)

there are 3 airports Newark, JFK and LaGuardia and there all outside of Manhattan, you'll need to have a car drive you into Manhattan or taxi...as far a hotel it really depends on what your bankroll is. The Empire State Bldg is on 5th Ave between 33rd and 34th in Mid Town and mid town can be very expensive..the New York Hilton is nice but pricey..your gonna pay top dollar to stay anywhere in Manhattan to say the least

Thanks. So are they equidistant from the ESB? I was going to take one of those airport shuttles. Gimly said I could get better deals to LaGuardia.

The client is paying, so I guess I don't care too much, but I don't want to get the most expensive.

try the Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street it's walking distance to the Empire State Bldg

as far as airports I'd say LGA as well, Gimli is right...LGA is in Queens..Kennedy is in Brooklyn...and Newark is across the river in Jersey...as far as being far from mid town, yes they're all a distance away with that NY traffic

Uhh Kennedy is in Queens and is actually considered the largest airport in New York City even though its not in NYC. I would fly into there as they have a great cab line and travel to Manhattan is much easier than from LGA which is not a great airport. But thats just me. Anyway you look at it, you need to cab it and being that its the Empire State Building and being in Manhattan you dont need to be staying close to it to get there easily.
