Hey guys:

I'm curious...Will encrusting corals encrust over Coralline? I'm curious as this is my first bare bottom tank and I have a couple of corals on the bottom and I'm not booming with coralline, so I want to make sure i shouldn't be scraping it away from the encrusters?

Thanks!

Look around the edge of your frags in the mornings, you will see the coralline is bright pink in small areas. This is where the frags will be digesting the coralline in the evenings to clear a path for their new growth. It goes white which means that patch is dead then the coral grows on the virgin territory.
