40 gallon system (Reefer 170) and my nems are big, but not as big as when I first got them… Also the tentacles are stretched out and not bubbly which I read can mean that there’s not enough light.

I have a single Icecap 1k that pulses every min from -90 to +90. I’ve just changed it to -/+70 just in case.

Lighting is 2 AI Primes. Schedule is attached.

What would YOU change?

Sometimes nems just don't bubble. I'd look more towards tank age and parameters being a factor than lighting.

Paramers have been stable @ 9ALK, 400CA, 1250-1300MG. I can test nitrates shortly. Testing with Trident. Tank is 2 years old

All seems good pending the nitrate and phosphate readings

Nothing, if they don’t like the spot, they will move.
You mentioned that and your correct, same with flow.
Sometimes they seem to go through different periods and scare us.

Agreed.. they've been like this for months, however.

I've noticed that current directly affects my bubble tips the most. If I shut off all current their tentacles blow up like balloons. If I jack up the flow the get longer and skinny. No idea what it means just what I have observed.
