Equipment placement and necessity questions

I am pretty much a newby here. Had a 55 gallon tank in the early 90’s and it seems like a lot has changed since then. This feels like a real science. Currently have a 20 gallon hex.

I am beginning work on a new much larger tank. I was told it’s 92 gallons. I have a corner tank and I’m curious as to the best suggested placement of a wave maker, heater and protein skimmer. My filter is a Fluval Fx4. See tank picture below. How necessary is a protein skimmer and wave maker?

I hope to begin learning more about corals etc and think the flow is very important. I am waiting on receiving the rock to get here before moving forward.

Any input would aid in my decisions! Thank you in advance!!

The first thing I see with a large corner tank is a hard to reach back corner.

Place everything where you can get to it easily for maintenance purposes.

AIM whatever water movement you create with pumps and filters to keep the water moving around the tank following the vortex forces* in the water.

*I forget the proper name for the forces but they also make the water flow in the sink and toilet go the same direction with gravity and the spin of the earth.
