Love mine. And if you upgrade should be good for a larger tank as well

If I heat up more water than I need for water changes, in case I accidentally take too much out, will I have to dump the water I didn't use? Or can I let it go back to room temp and use it next time?
Seems to me you would be fine to just keep it moving and use later. Small water pump to keep the oxygen level at saturation.

Thank you! I have a habit of "eyeballing" it when I remove water, and I always take out just little bit more than I should. Not much, less than half a gallon, but in tanks that are so small, that half gallon can make a difference

Every morning, when I turn on the tank lights, Ronan likes to sit with me in front of the tanks and show me all the snails and hermits that he can see. If he likes doing that now, I can't wait to see how he is when I finally start adding corals (and more fish, in the 29) ;Happy
