Ok, in all it's ugliness:

This is a vast improvement from where it was prior to the water change and GHA removal but I stirred up a bunch of junk. Getting ready to resnow the tank.

I think this might be the first FTS I've seen of your tank. I like it, looks great.

Sorry all. I've been up north for my brother-in-law's elk hunt. Back now. Some tank maintenance will be done. I've got water mixing and I need to test parameters. Water change will likely be tonight or tomorrow. Test tomorrow or Saturday.

I lost my Starry Blenny last week before I left. He was old. Probably around 8" long. He was one of the original fish in my old 65 gallon from around 7 or 8 years ago. He was already almost 6" when I got him so not a young fish at that time. He had a good run. Trying to decide what to replace him with. Probably a Lawnmower since they stay a little smaller. I already have a Molly Miller in there.

Sorry to hear about the starry. We have one in the wife's tank and its very cute!

I had got a lawnmower for my tank, but my Tang was harassing it on and off. Woke up one morning and couldn't find it anymore so assuming he perished and got cleaned up real quick by my cleanup crew.

Wasn't on the ground, and haven't seen it in any of the back compartments either.

He got two shots but nothing in the freezer yet. He's up there with his brother today and his dad and sister and her husband are heading back up tomorrow. He's got this weekend and next week to get it done. We've seen elk every day and they're bulging and answering calls so he's got a good chance since he's willing to put the work in and has the time.

I didn't update the other day BUT I added 3 small turbos, a fighting conch, and 2 cups of Kona Draft (phyto and copepod blend) on Friday.

Today I did a water change as well and plucked a bunch of algae. Also harvested some GHA and Bubble Algae from the ATS.

Really nice setup! What do you think of the Noopsyche K7 V3 140watt? I am in the planning phase of a larger setup and am trying to talk myself into this route over radions.

JEALOUS of that pricing (if Google AI can be trusted ) . Only LFS really nearby (others are 2-3 hour round trip just in the car) sells phyto for $15 for 8 oz. I find myself buying most stuff online at this point cause of the insane pricing they do on some stuff, knowing they have the market cornered.

I could go to ARC but Buffalo is a hike and not something I can just decide to stop out to.

Noopsyche are great lights. The newer ones are easier to control than the older ones for sure!

Mine are the older ones. They're the last generation of the remote controlled version - the first generation 140 watt lights. I've got the first generation of the app controlled ones on my freshwater tank though. I live the adjustability and controlability of them.

I was running the 90 watt for a while as well.

The sump light is the Noopsyche pre-mini.

I have a few of the AI Hydra's 4 26 ,1 52 , heard it's pretty easy and inexpensive to upgrade these to 32's & 52
buttt i don't really mess with any eq that's app controlled ...
any idea ?

The Mobius app isn't bad. I used it for my Blade on my work tank. Set it once and haven't touched it since.

I never had problems with myAI either. Used it for Prime 16 HDs, Nero 3s, and Blades. Local Bluetooth connection, loads schedule to controllers so you only need the app for changes or shutdown.

Echoing mobious app being solid. I have played with the settings a bit for the Radion on my wife's tank but that's only because she wanted longer sections of blues to make the anenomes pop more. Otherwise it's just been AB+ templates on both tanks with intensity brought down.

I wish I could do more with AI gyres and powerheads in mobious, specifically to get the reef crest style flow you can get with a MP10/40.
