ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

Is there a way to test phosphates? 😂
Yeah. That's the part where I said I really just need to test though. 😁

I have Hanna Phosphate, Alk, and Nitrate testers I need to use.

If you dont test phosphates they are not high, only when you test they transform to being high. 😬 -science based

Only printing the one with the divider for a media bag right now.

I may have underestimated the size of the media bag. Either that or it's going to be perfect!

Printed, rinsed, loaded, installed. Sorry, lights are out so no pictures.

Ordered another Hydros Float Switch today. Also did a 5 gallon water change.

Sold a 3 polyp Stratosphere frag this morning on my way to work (which wasn't really work since I went golfing instead) and posted a couple of colonies on Facebook.

I've gotten lots of interest in the Zoas. Everyone says "Still available?"

Me: Yep!

Them: Cool! Got any smaller, cheaper frags?

Me: Nope!

Them: Ok, thanks for the response.

In other reefing news, today I snowed the tank and made some water for a water change. Maybe later this evening?

Don’t you let it churn a day before you do a water change?

Sometimes. Sometimes I go a week or 3. Sometimes I give it 15-20 minutes. It all depends on how motivated I'm feeling.

The salt I'm using currently actually says in the directions not to stir for more than an hour before using.

Minimum I can only go after 6 -8 hrs . My salt doesn’t mix that fast .

So my float valve "forgot" to get out on a truck in Illinois so it was delayed at least a day. Then it got to my local UPS hub to be put on a delivery truck and they decided to hand it off to USPS... I don't even know what's going on.

The interesting part of the whole thing is I ordered a jar of fish food with the float valve to bring the price up enough for free shipping (a $5 jar of fish food vs $6 shipping so I figured why not?). Well that delivered yesterday. My puppy got left out of her kennel yesterday while everyone was gone and she ate my free shipping... 🤷🏼‍♂️
