Ok so today I setup two essential oil misters in my living room and kitchen and my tank is in the living room and is open top was wondering if the oils somehow in the air could harm the tank or if I should just put them in the bedrooms and leave them be

If it goes bad, you will see a bacteria bloom.

Tagging for more input from others... :)

So it won’t be I wake up to all my corals dead
I'd try it in side rooms at first, for sure.

I got a massive bacteria bloom from carpet cleaner (aerosol) one time and it sure was a long ride to get our reef back in shape.
To this day, my wife won't even put a Glade plug-in, in that room after that mess.
Live and learn.

Anything that makes contact with the surface water, will mix into it.

Run carbon if you feel like something bad might happen

I have one about 20 ft away and have not experienced any issues. I often wondered if it was an issue but all seems well. I think there is probably a lot of factors. Fans, location, distance ect. I think you'll probably be fine just be cognizant.

I would suggest that you not use these items anywhere in your house. There are many, many natural compounds that are relatively harmless to mammals that have a markedly different effect on aquatic creatures, insects and other forms of life. And the bottom line is that "essential oils" is a gigantically vague term that could go from "no big deal" to "catastrophic" depending on what the compound is.
