And no I don't mean adding directly to your reef!

My wife is hooked on her "essential" oils and running em in a mister quite frequently. I can smell it through the the house and a couple times I caught her running her mister in the same room as my tank and almost lost my mind...lol

Now my reefs been in a state of peril for some time now so I can't make a direct comparison as to whether or not they could be effecting my corals or not. But I'm thinking it can't be good and wanted to hear some other opinions.

Never use anything like that around a reef tank. I'd really ramp up the water changes and quietly "lose" that thing!

Sadly if I could make that thing disappear, magically a new one would appear 2 days later on my front porch :P

Haha! Seems like snake oil to me but my wife has a different opinion and I've been married long enough to know it's useless to resist...lol

Good thing is she genuinely cares for the tank so she keeps it far away from the tank now.

Ah, snake oil. According to my new pamphlet on every oil on the planet, it totally cures joint aches, head aches, relieves tension, promotes a higher salary, and will even Cook you dinner! Looks like I'm going to have to buy some for my new diffuser. And look at that, it's only $300 per 3ml bottle!
