Established 125 changing over to 150 cycled 6 months

Hello,
I have decided to purchase a pre-cycled 150g and picking it up this weekend. My 125 has had a issue with cyano for months and is about 15 years old now “rock and substrate”.The other aquarium being new was started with base rock. I would like to chemi clean my system tomorrow then transfer some of my rock into the new system. I keep the cyano scrubbed out so I just have flakes here and there no major buildup like I did in the beginning. Does anyone see how this could be an issue? Also I run canister filters and the new system has a sump with bio balls. Im not sure how many of my rocks I am going to keep but I really do not like some of the rocks in the new tank. I just can’t seem to figure out if this can cause a biological upset. Thank you sorry it’s such a long post

Don’t chemical clean things in your tank if there is any livestock you want to live, if you want to chemically clean your rock leave it outside the tank for a while before putting it back in.
With a precycled tank I would double check it’s fully cycled and congrats on the upgrade!

Chemi-clean, in my experience, is perfectly safe for livestock when used as directed.

Thank you I just don’t want it introduced into the new system, would it be possible for me to add too much of my rock and cause a cycle? I have bought rock added it but never in large quantities.
