I tried looking around but didn’t find exactly this scenario. One head is extremely retracted, but all others ok. It’s been like this for a few days. Frag and remove? Dip? Wait it out? Thanks for your thoughts!

Light and flow

100 PAR under SBReef basics. Good flow, but not too much for the polyps. Two QP-5 and a Varios-8 return with random flow gens in 66 gallon tank. The flow pumps alternate.

In my opinion that PAR is fine, but that head looks under the others and if it specifically doesn't get light, it will continue to not look like the others and may die off. I had a 20+ head frogspawn and when it got larger the heads at the base got shaded and died off. You could try to frag it, but be careful to not cut into the others.

you could try using the putt and putting it on a rock elevated off the sand.

9/7/17. Has been happy until a few days ago. I’ll put it up in the rock work to see if that helps. Thanks.
