Hello i just got this torch a few days ago and noticed the flesh doesnt look quite right. Where the flesh attaches to the skeleton it seems to be receding. Iv looked around but couldnt find a solid answer as to weather or not this will heal. Any advice is appreciated.

dKh 8.3
Ca 420
Mg 1435
Phos .07
Nitrate 4
Using gfo in a bag to lower my phos highest was .12 has been stable at .07 for a couple days
Everyone else looks happy in the tank

Stress from shipping and change into a new tank etc will cause some recession. Doesn't look like a lot so that's good. Keep an eye on it though to monitor it doesn't continue. It won't heal or regrow but as the torch grows upwards the flesh band should hopefully get wider as it grows faster than it recedes from the lower edge.

If you are asking about the white area down towards the plug, that is some damage to the outer part of the skeleton exposing the inner part a little bit. Not a big deal. If it starts breaking away more you can put some glue on it to strengthen it.

Alright, that is what i assumed. Thank you for responding. I'll keep my eye on it ( not hard to do) and if it gets worse il check back in.
