Euphyllia, Will it recover?

Hey all,
So this morning I woke up to my hammer in the sand the one side was laying in the sand I don’t know how it fell unless my dang peppermint shrimp pulled it down, who will now be leaving my tank shortly. Was this head smothered by the sand or was it eaten by peppermints and will it recover?

Give it some time to recover, it should look better later today after the lights are on. It just didn’t like the fall to the sand.
