euro brace formula?

hi all, i’m just wondering if there exists some sort of formula for when and how to use eurobracing.

i am going to have my lfs build me a custom tank thats 61” x 28” x 22” deep.

i want to brace only the 28” sides as i want a central overflow in the back.

would there be any benefit to bracing only the 28” sides front to back? or bracing the sides and the front only? thanks in advance all

I would think that, if your LFS is building the tank, they would know. If it were me, I would second guess any builder that didn't immediately know the answer to that question, but maybe Maybe @Joe Glass Cages can help out here.

Is the overflow box glass or acrylic on back glass ? Is the tank itself glass or acrylic ?

What thickness is your LFS constructing this tank from? With those questions answered, I will be able to help on these questions.

Ask the LFS for the design before agreeing to buy.
