Hello, just got a new (used) 225 gallon tank and I accidentally knocked the back euro brace off. I was going to put it back on but thinking about it, it doesn’t seem to be needed because the back piece doesn’t connect across the entire back. Can someone clarify if this is needed? It would make mounting my lights easier if I didn’t have it. So I was considering removing the other one as well. See pics for reference.
Thank you

I don't know, I think that back brace helps prevent the back panel from bowing out. Maybe others will have tried this before? Good luck!

I appreciate it, I guess my simple brain doesn’t see how it would help without it being connected all the way across lol
