Anyone have any experiance with these. Thinking about adding one to my ATI unit for more coral pop...

Just ordered 1 bulb for my ati fixture. Will be here Tuesday. Ill definitely post some pictures and let you know what i think of them as soon as they are up and running.

the new model will be released in 2017 and supposedly they worked out some kinks and made them 25% brighter. The major kink that kept me from getting these is that the old ones do not work on dimmable fixtures. they flicker

I use 2 blue pops on my dt and frag tank love them

It puts a nice RB color in the tank and makes them glow. I have a par meter and didnt notice a difference when I replaced 2 of my ati t5 bulbs with them

just saw it thanks....I guess I'll wait until the new ones come out

I have 4 you can get cheap. Yeah, I don't think much of them at all. I didn't pay a prototype price, but that is what I got.

These are the biggest pieces of junk I've bought in over 20 years of reefing. reefbrites are waaaay better quality. please don't waste your $

I had 2 x E5's blue pops 24w, both failed within 8 months of use. Far from the 8 year promise! One day it started smelling like burning electronics and that was the end of them. They were running in an ATI Powermodule 6x24w fixture with fan cooling.
There is a 3 year warranty and they did replaced 1 of the 2- E5's. I'm trying to get the second bulb replaced, however they are not responding to emails / radio silence. The customer service is very lacking and requires you to chase them down to get any information. Sad, they are expensive and I had high hopes for these. Going back to ATI T5's! lesson learned.
