Euroquatics E5X LED T5 bulb

has anyone tried the newer version of he E5X t5 led bulb from Euroquatics? I’m wondering how they are and if they are safe for an ATI sunpower. I’d like to try them out, but not at the risk of burning out my ballasts. (link no longer available)

Well,
I tried two of the original... "Blue Pop's"

They freaked... :eek: my reef out and yanked them out, two weeks later.

When I tore one apart, they looked ;Wideyed just like Home Depot, led tape strips :(

Felt like I had been took, and won't buy their stuff again, until proven otherwise.

JMO...

Any other's... "please" chime in with your results and opinions.

I was very excited about this bulb. I have a spectra MH and was wanting to use them to skip the need to add blue LEDs for pop.
Reading around found out they had fixed the first gen issues, such as sagging in the middle.

The 5X was brighter and promised to be a good option.
I contacted euroquatics many times on FB and was told they would be shipping soon.

Then I found out they would not work with my Spectra because of the type of ballast it has... then the manufacturer started ignoring my messages asking for updates so I figured would be best to forget the whole thing

Same ballasts as the spectra. Would not work. The Ex5 doesnt exist, I think that ship sunk as a whole, unfortunately
