I have a small utility room where my clownfish breeding setup is. I have two basement windows (the long narrow ones) 12 tall "x24" wide " if I had to guess. I'm trying to figure out how to exhaust some air - it gets very humid even with dehumidifier on 24/7. I live in Mass, so it has to be compatible with winter. I was thinking of cutting a hole in plywood, putting a dryer vent on, and rigging a 12V fan to it, but I don't think that will suck out enough air.

I don't think you need a lot of movement. I think it will work. If it doesn't at least you'll now if you need more or less..
