Extending Apex salinity probe wire

Cut the wire and solder, keep the ends.

Probably british navel connector

This is the cable end I show on the salinity probe. The BNC connecter wouldn’t work in this case

Roger that, seeing this it's probably using 4 wire or 3 wire resistance monitoring. Since voltage / resistance is directly proportional to salinity. If this is the case you can lengthen the wire without great consequence as it compensates via design.

My recommendation is to get a longer aquabus cable and plug a PM2 into it. I certainly would not recommend cutting the cable- it will void your warranty and the wires inside that cable are very thin. The Mini-Din4 extensions in our experience cause interference issues and will be problematic as well.
