I need to lengthen the wire on my (generic) float switch. Do I need to buy a specific kind of wire?

TIA,

Cindy

You can just use any wire that is similar in size. Probably about 22 AWG. (that is what I use on mine)

when I lengthen the wire on my JBJ ATO float switch, I believe I used door bell wire.
