So I have 2 external pumps plumbed to my sump already with 1” pvc to each of them. I’m needing to add a 3rd pump. Do you think it would be fine to have 2 pumps both running off the same 1” pvc bulkhead? I’m really not want to drain my sump to drill a 3rd hole.

Out of curiosity, why the third pump?
I’m needing another pump to run to a separate tank. Currently my one pump is running to my main tank. Then I have a Vecrta L2 running all my manifolds, and it’s at its limit already. Can’t go bigger on this pump, as it’s already the biggest :-) without spending 4,000 bucks in one.

A photo or drawing of the setup would help.

So I’m thinking of extending the pvc out from the Vectra and splitting teeing it off to 2 pumps.
From what I’ve read a 1” pvc can handle 2000+GPH. With head pressure the Vectra is pumping about 900. So I’d think the pipe could handle the capacity???
