Lobo in fight mode

My lobo keeps releasing mesenterial filaments. I don't know if something is attacking it or if it senses other coral (like the octo and torch) and is talking tough. I moved it away from the octo and torch because they were sending out sweepers, but they aren't coming in range of the lobo now...

Does it smell?

Maybe I'm immune to it, but recently the question came up of, will the house smell like the ocean? Fish? I don't think I've ever had a smell come from the tanks before unless I was working on something like a filter or skimmer. But never during normal operation.
