I have a small fan-bellied leatherjacket in my quarantine tank, and I am wondering whether or not to transfer him to my main tank. There is a clown and a damsel in there, so not too worried about the fish, BUT, I have hermits and snails, some algae (caulerpa sp.), toadstool and sinularia leathers, and xenia.

Having read stuff like "Leatherjackets eat aiptasia but will also pick at coral, algae, sponge, molluscs, crabs, snails and sea urchins." I am concerned that he might cause too much damage.

I know how big this leatherjacket can grow. He is tiny now, and will get moved when/if he grows too big.

My question is about whether he will harass and even eat the inhabitants while he is there.
