Frags do not do well with po4 below 0.10 btw. I keep my po4 between 0.10 and 0.30

Can I ask how you raise your phosphates?

Not speaking for @Chaswood79 but I had very low phosphates, was dosing before..

But I added a lot of fish. Fed more and that was it.

Thanks, I'm going to try and just add the food then slowly dose phosphates and get things looking better before I invest in another fish. Plus only being about 90litre i cant have loads of fish i there.

My tank is only 50 gallons but I have quite a few fish and I only run my skimmer for 12 hours a day. I would start by reducing your export method, and feeding your fish a couple extra times a day for 3-5 days and then test and then adjust accordingly until you find the right balance.

Agreed. Dosing phosphates is one more thing to worry about. Feeding more is the way to go, try an auto feeder to make it easier.

I don't have any real export method only filter floss which is only to catch big bits which I have removed for now. And I already feed my fish a mixture of pellets, flake and frozen twice a day. I dont know what is consuming the phosphates as I only have a little turf algae on 1 rock about 2 inches across, no sump, no skimmer for well over a year now and water changes are only 10% maybe every 6 weeks. The only thing I have filtration wise is about 750g of biohome marine media, could this be too efficient at reducing phosphates?
