Looking for someone to confirm whether my Pink Margin has an injury or infection. It's right on the nose or slightly above and that makes me believe it's an injury from jumping and hitting the eggcrate I have for a top on the QT. He's been in a copper QT for about 2 weeks. Before then he had two rounds of Prazipro. Eats like a champ and is very active. Thanks.

Darn jumpers! Consider putting a layer of 1/4" plastic mesh onto your eggcrate on the side facing the water. I attach it with zip ties to help avoid injury on those kinda sharp edges, and the fish getting stuck in the eggcrate. Yikes!

Placing the mesh on the top of the eggcrate doesn't work well as I've seen them get wedged in between the eggcrate and the mesh.

Thanks for the tip! I could flip the top over to make it safer for the poor guy. I have zip ties holding the net to the eggcrate as well. I was concerned about possible infections but he does look better today.
