false and true purple tang

whats the difference between false and true purple tang?

Never heard of a "false" purple tang. Perhaps you mean percula?

only thing i can think of is someone is trying to sell a atlantic blue tang as a false purple,
bluish body with yellow tail as a juvi..?????

prolly just a yellow, its a false purple cuz the body isn't purple but the tail is yellow LOL
