I have to set up my quarantine tank and I was honestly thinking about doing something nice. It has to sit near my display tank in our main part of our house. Might as well make it look nice right? Also it's going to be up and running for a LONG time as I build my Main display tank and fill it.

I was thinking something like a 14G Oceanic Biocube Nano as a QT tank. Thoughts? I can get on on Craigslist pretty cheap.

Edit: I changed the brand name as I put the wrong on in the line.

I don’t see any harm in using it as a QT while you build your DT. For some people it becaomes a second tank, that’s why most tear them down so they don’t make it into another SW tank.

That should work, but is it large enough to house all the fish you want to QT? I'd worry about any planned butterfly, tangs, or other large fish.

a 20L or 40 breeder gives a much larger footprint, but not as clean of a package.
