I've had my tank for about 8 months up and running. I started it thinking it was going to be an LPS only system with some soft corals sprinkled in where there was low light areas. The tank did start out that way and I've had minimal issues keeping torches and hammers alive.

Fast forward a few months and I figured why not try out a stick or two. Added a birds of paradise and Kermit the frog acro frags which didn't take off right away. But once I got the tank dialed in and started seeing solid growth and then proper coloration.... well now I'm starting to "fancy" (hence the title" SPS, specially sticks). There's something about seeing new branches and polyps forming that LPS doesn't provide. Don't get me wrong I love polyps flowing.

I personally have never kept SPS coral, but when I see stories like yours, it makes me want to have some, haha
