I think I know where you are going with this and I like it….

Yes it’s removable
I would find or have someone build a small tank to fit that section. Do you have any guys locally that build acrylic aquariums? Might be able to use a hang-on overflow to feed it and then return water back with a small pump.

Yeah I’ve always wanted to do a macro algae tank so maybe I’ll start there
set up with baffles in the back to get water from and to the display. That would look great! greens and reds in a small tank sitting under the blue display! I love the 5g fresh water that sits under my tv. doesn't do anything but look nice and stay out of the way.

so many ideas! I’ll get it measured out and see what I can fit in there

the tank comes with pumps but nothing too exciting

so I upgraded some SICCE that are a little bigger

I was looking at one of those for when I build out a sump for my tank. pondering the 2.0 so I don't need to step down the plumbing for the return line. they're adjustable right?

They have a little adjustment plate on the front on the pump, it's not exact but it does adjust

Skimming your build, it's going to be SWEEEET!
We are honored to supply your system with TBS products, thank you.

Assuming the 2 pumps on either end? Redundancy, as you know, is key! Awesome stand!
Sea ya.

Right, but I heard mention of a 65, and it looks like it's basically the same tank, just 48x20x16.
Yep! Just an inch or so deeper as said before. I guess I should have read the other comments before I responded! Lol

Alright I got the lights hung up and set in place

(note to self) make sure the chambers are empty before you set the lights.

ha the return pumps that come with it were in the chamber and I had to move the light after I had it in place

just need to keep acquiring equipment and getting it set

As said before I bought some SICCE pumps that are stronger than the ones that’s come with the tank. Got those installed into the chambers today too
