Ok. I think it’s done.

Got the tools out to break apart some bigger pieces and put them back together in interesting ways

Got the tools out to break apart some bigger pieces and put them back together in interesting ways

Used carbon fiber square rods, masonry drill bit, and epoxy.

There are 1 or 2 small things I’m considering but for the most part.

I don’t like the rock on the top right.

Thankfully. I’m done for the most part!

If you don’t like the rock on the top right why not just remove it? It would break up the symmetry between the three islands and make it look more natural. Once you park a coral on each of the peaks that are left and they start growing out it will look great.

It just feels incomplete without something on top. But you’re right. I’ll try it out!

It’s officially done!

Thank you everyone for the suggestions!

And a huge thank you to @ocks

Best live rock in the game and the live sand is perfect! I love the look so much more than the fine sand

also in the rubble rock I got there were a couple large conch shells and they look great in the tank!

Hit them up I’m definitely going to for me eel tank!

Next us moving everything in from the holding tank

I would replace the metal hose clamp you have on the Tunze pump with the plastic hose clamp from BRS. You’ll just be putting unwanted metals in your tank as it starts to rust over time.

Yes agreed. I haven’t swapped this out yet but plan to do so

Obviously iHad a couple issues getting my XR15s and MP40s connected to the reeflink but finally they are programmed and scheduled!

Ecotech customer service was able to jump right on and get everything connected to the reef link.

Very happy to have these programmed and on a schedule. Still messing with the flow but very excited!

still messing with the flow schedule. No idea what the right set up is

Added (2) more pieces of equipment

A small UV sterilizer that fits in one of the chamber and an extra LED light in in the middle to take care of the shadow in the middle

I need a different power strip for the left cabinet. I need one where the outlets are sideways because some of these plugs block some of the sockets

Tank is all set up and all the corals have been moved in!

Going to probably get rid of a few euphyllia and start fresh

Also want to move the torches up

But I’m loving the way it’s all turned out!

Nice to hear you got everything figured out with your reeflink. I run a lagoon mode 15 min after lights out to 15 before on, Tidal swell during the day for the varied flow patterns, then nutrient export for the 30 min. Seems to be working out for my tanks. You planning on getting another light bar to help for the supplemental lighting? Which did you decide to go with?

Thanks!

That’s pretty much exactly what I have set up for the MP40s but I’m still tweaking it a little bit.

and yes I sort of figured out the light bar.

I had a short current USA led light from a previous tank and it actually fits perfectly. I’m not 100% sure I’ll keep it that way but it works for now!

A Simple upgrade but very helpful and needed! Swapped out the standard surge protector for one that has the outlets turned, spaced out, and individually switchable!

Also grabbed a kamoer doser. Not sure if it’s what I’m going to go with because it’s so bulky

If I do I built a nice little shelf for it! Lol
