Favia coral . Is it dead?

I wonder if it was dead. I fed him last night.

Its hard to tell by the pics because they are kind of dark but I can see lots of healthy, living tissue. Can we get s brighter pic to really see?
 
That is probably just the color the favia will show in that part.
 
Did you have the food fall on top of the coral like a blanket? .If so blow it off it can burn corals in concentration. Happened to my brain coral and trumpet using reef snow.
