i bought some favias from a vendor, and he offered this one claiming it is an "un-named favia that is tank raised and looking hot and i thought you might like it so i threw it in there".

just curious if it's the same as any other named ones...i asked another favia collector friend's opinion and he claimed it looked a lot like his paradise favia, but i don't think it's the same. the red/pink eyes seem to develop at the center of every corallite. i need to take another picture from the side of this piece, as this one doesn't really show much of the yellow/gold, either. the corallites seem to go from a red/pink center to yellow to green, with bits of blue in the ridges. but it's kind of hard to tell.

caught this one throwing out feeders tonight. hard to get an in-focus image w/ them moving around so much, but if i kill the flow they sag down and don't look right. and i refuse to use flash. :p

Very cool, I have a large purple and red war coral that does the same. It's amazing how many come out of nowhere.
