I recently bought 6 awesome looking favia for my 80 gallon mixed reef with Hydra 26’s. I have grown favia with great success in the past in my old 90 gallon tank with T-5s but favia were not bright colored , I’ve heard and read that the favia listed below requires more light to keep there bright colors .
Can y’all help me if this is correct ?” The brighter favia needs brighter light “

WWW Ultron
GI Joe favia
Captain America
JF. Top Fuel
RR Space Lime

Never heard that before, sounds too simple to be true. But then I don't keep many favia.

Good luck.

I don’t think that it makes them grow any better. I keep mine almost in the shade, but they definitely "pop" with more intensity under leds. These first two pics are under AI Primes/T5s during my peak intensity and the other two are once the T5s go off.

Thanks for taking time Ron, First time for me with the " brighter" favia's .. Hopefully someone will let us know this instead of me assuming their placement..

Nice! Gotcha. I have placed 2 of the frags off to the side where semi shaded and placed the
JF. Top Fuel and RR Space Lime in area with more intensity and seeing how they respond.
