I am not sure about the one on the left in the first picture ,, the rim is bright ,, the rest of it gets that dark color ,, not sure this is just the way it grows ,, or maybe just needs more light ,,, grows and eats good though ,,

That's normal for that favia. This is one that's close to it but stays lighter in color.
