Favites Pentagona dying

Can anyone give me some advice on how to save this guy. He's starting to turn brown on one side and I'm afraid it will spread to the other side if I don't do anything. I've been moving him around the tank but can't seem to find a happy place. I tried on top of a rock, shaded area on the sand bed and now I've brought him out a bit. I'll point out in a picture where I've had him. Appreciate any help!

What lighting is the Favia under? If LED what % are you running the fixture at?
Have you checked the water chemistry?
Based on what I see I would put it next to the candy cane and leave it there for awhile. Decline in coloration happens fast, recovery is a slow process and moving the piece can cause more harm than good. This coral does not need to be blasted with light and target feeding can be beneficial.

Take out the favia, and place it in a wide container with some tank water, doesnt have to be too much. Grab clean, sterile brush and remove brown manually.
it would be best for the favia if u cut the skeleton (white part) , then a quick bath on some revive dip, or lugols iodine (A light solution as it irritates the favia). Place it mid-high , with decent flow.
