My Passer Angel is my #1, with #2 behind him (flame angel variant on one side, "normal" on other)

These guys are my favorites because of their beauty and color that just pops!

My Blue Throat Male + Sargassum trigger pair

The uncommonness of the sargassum and the seemingly pairing up of the two make this a dynamic duo in my tank..... and my #3 & 4 favorites

I love my own fish more than I can tell you, but my favorite fish are the ones I spent time with but can't have. These were taken on the vacation of a lifetime, Tenerife, Canary Islands in November 2010. The first is a series of rock pools at Garachico formed by the volcano Teide, which is the entire island.

The next three are photos of the fish in one of the rock pools. These are pools you can get in and swim with the fish, and I so did! The first second was freaky though. I just got my legs into the water and was about to hop down in, when I felt something creeping on both legs. I pulled them back out and yelled ack! And then looked down--there were these fish and shrimp right there under the surface looking up at me like, Why did you get out? We were just having fun! Obviously they're cleaners and have no fear of humans. The pics are better in tanks, but you work with what you have so here they are, some hovering RIGHT near my hand:

When I came home I missed this experience so much! And I had always wanted, through years and years of keeping freshwater fish, with the last few being obsessive over Africans, to keep saltwater fish. Nothing was filling the need to try it. These fish in this rock pool got me to "take the plunge," and I'm never going back to freshwater! So they are my favorites.

I have a lot of favorites. This one is sweet. I'm talking colorful, rare, and expensive.

Wish it was mine but I don't have $10,000 to spend on a fish. :xd:
