Favorite music

What is ur favorite type of music, what are ur favorite songs, or who are ur favorite musicians? personally i like rock, metal, country, and pop music.

I listen to a little of everything depending on mood. Mostly metal. If I'm driving and really want to shake things (about 900 watts) I'll blast some hiphop. Lately I've been listening to alot of symphonic metal ( nightwish, epica, Eluveitie) still love the classics (Metallica, Megadeth, Overkill, Iron Maiden, Anthrax.)

nice. i'm more of a power metal or symphonic/gothic metal dude.(Nightwish, Within Temptation, Delain, Sonata Arctica, Fairyland, Avalanch, Helloween). it's catchy music IMO and i love listening to it

Alot of people put metal down as being just noise, but imo it has some of the most talent in music. hip hop and rap although it has a catchy beat, it does make me feel like a well written metal song does. And I really hate the over use of autotune. You don't hear that in metal. The singers can actually sing. I'm even becoming more of a fan of some growling in metal.

agreed. a lot of metal is extremely melodic, more so then pop or rock i dare say. especially power metal like Cains Offering

Have basically listened to the same three bands my whole life....Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, and Kiss. I like a lot of other stuff (as long as it isn't country or rap lol) but mainly it is those three. Check out my Pink Floyd thread if you are interested :-)

I dig genres, 50's-80's mostly. Love it all! If I have to pick a favorite...Drum roll please...Elvis Presley the King of rock is the winner, second runner up is the Beatles. I do dig some metal, I've seen Korn, Static X and System of a Down live.

I listen to everything... but mainly electronic (trance, house, and chill etc).. also 80s (all) and love 90s alternative. I love Diplo's revolution and BPM on Sirius... I have a DJ setup at home and play sets for myself every couple of weeks.. mostly trance... I have to say now working from home full time I have enjoyed listening to classical during the workday lately... it's very calming and I find I feel a lot better in the evenings, not mentally exhausted..
