tube anemone acting weird

uhh what the heck?? my tank sprung a leak(red sea ofc) so i have everyone in a very temporary 10gal. my tube anemone is in a cup with sand temporarily and all of a sudden this is happening? one of my clownfish has all of a sudden started showing interest in the anemone as well. i’ve had it for over 2 years and they’ve never cared for it. i can’t find any information online, so strange. my parameters are exactly the same as they were in the main tank.
lmk ur thoughts!

Nice pictures. Seems normal enough. What size was your display. Even if you used 100% of display tank water, the chemistry is no longer the same. Even if chemistry was the exact same; the neighborhood is different.

yeah he’s in a cup that has about 6” of substrate, i feed him pellets and shrimp, clam, mussel, switch it up. he’s still taking food but just looks completely different

this display was a 25gal, i have a new 32.5gal on the way. i used 100% of the water and also put my macro algae that i kept in the filter into this tank, and am closely monitoring my water parameters to keep them as normal as possible. but yes you’re right im sure there are some differences especially being as it’s less than half the size

no that was from a few weeks ago in the display tank. when i took the tank down he spent the first few nights hiding, but just last night he came out and this morning he looks like this. he ate some chopped squid last night no problem, i always drop stuff right into it

yes my display tank unfortunately sprung a leak so they’re in a temporary 10gal while i wait for the new tank to arrive. as stated in another reply i tried to make the transition as smooth as possible. i assume it’s from stress but its very strange and i couldn’t find anything like it online so i thought id share

I suspected a disruption...Think of moving home and getting used to new surroundings, You are human, you can adjust pretty quickly . Give the Tube time, Don't stresss , just let it adjust
