Porky's BBQ in Marshall, TX for fish (that's right...a bbq place for fish. The BBQ is horrible the fish is awesome!)

Bodacious BBQ on Hwy. 80 in Longview, TX. I eat there almost everyday. Why? It's my restaurant. :)

I've lived a lot of places, and most of my favorite restaurants are chains. In New England I like 99 Restaurant. Midwest, Culver's. In CA for fast food mexican I love Del Taco.

Del Taco is great and if you like Del Taco You must hit the 3 In Barstow CA. Home of the og Delt Taco and by far the best around. Seriously no contest these are the best. Now that fast food.
For a Steak I must say either Mortons, or Mastro's. or carnivino. Italian Lupa in New York or marios in riverside CA. Mex is my family mexico cafe in highland ca 57 years in bussiness good food. Also Dells in colton or rosa maria's . If you ever find yourself in Acapulco you must try Zoritos. It's not in the tourist area so you have to ask a cab to take you but it's worth it. I have one place that is on my dream list that I have not tried yet and That's the French Laundry in Napa CA, But getting a reservation can be an issue. I will think of some more

LOL. Yes! Bad thing is July 4th is one of our busier days and I have to work. By the time I'm done it's time for fireworks and cold beer!

Theres a place up here called Bad Brad's BBQ, it opened my eyes to bbq and how wonderful it is, beef brisket + coleslaw on an all American cheeseburger?! FUHGETABOUTITTT

Bad thing about the service industry. You don't get holidays. I worked at my Aunts restaurant for years and she rarely took a day off. Even when the restaurant was closed, she would be cleaning or doing orders or prep... :(

Yep. We did that for many years. I've been in business long enough now when I want a day off or vacation I just close. :D

Best local (and our special occasion spot) is Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore. Best pizza is Johns on Bleeker street in New York. Best BBQ is from Mission BBQ in Glen Burnie, MD. Great, now I've gotta call for reservations. Hahaha.

Yeah I know but people would know Napa better. Its actually 250 pp before the wine. Menu changes daily. From everyone that's ever been that I know says its worth every penny.

I know. You need to be calling now and keep calling everyday until you get your res. Have fun and enjoy. Post up your experience and ask for a kitchen tour and to meet the chef. They will accommodate you and I bet your mom would love that.
