This is my first feather duster, had it for a few moths and it is doing really well. I have it in my pico right now and it has attached itself to the base of a rock. Is there any way I can get it off the rock? I am moving soon and want to put it in the sand bed of my new tank.

Have you tried asking it nicely? Or perhaps yelling at it?
Ok I'm no help whatsoever sorry

I would not try and pry it off, but you might be able to. Can you just break or chisel the rock where it is attached?

I probably could chisel it away if I had a chisel. I just dont want to smash him up by accident.

It can stay out for a while, just have a bucket of tank water and do some chiseling in there. Tank off a big chunk, then start trimming it down.

Personally I think they look good on rocks.
