Hello! I wish to hear from a refer WHO have kept feather duster for 1+ years succsessfully and i mean the big kind like Sabellidae species etc. If you are that person could you please share the care and secrets for long term success with these guys,
I currently keep 4 of them in a 270L cube with 4 seahorses and a court jester Goby + huge cleanup crew (60+ different kind of snails)
I also grow 2 types of phyto as Well nanno and tetra. I also culture copepods which i feed with a couple of times a week both spot feeding and broadcast feeding. I change about 30-40L a week since its a seahorse tank.
The tank is 10 weeks old, i know it goes against seahorse rules and feather dusters to add so early but i breed them (the seahorses) and they are fully trained to eat out of Shells which makes it easy for me to remove uneaten food there is no issue with nitrates phosphstes, ammonia nitrite.
Phos : 0.06
Nitrate: 14.7
Calcium:440
Magnesium:1475
Kh/alk:9.5
Thanks in advance
