I got a feather duster to my 16g biocube and the pom pom crab was eating or disturbing it. So i moved where the pom pom crab van not reach it but i have 2 sexy shrimp "playing" with it. Is this ok or should i put it back in the main area where the pom pom crab is at?

Ps. Since i place it on my thank the feathers have not come out. While it was on the plastic bag before i touched it it was out.

The worms will retract if they're being continually harassed, but you usually don't have to worry until something drives them out of their tube. I found that mine prefer to be entwined in the rocks as opposed to the substrate, and I typically see at least one crab hanging around picking at the tube every day. Maybe more food for the inverts??

Love dusters, have tried a few times under various mixed reef scenarios over the years.... never could make it work and gave up, something always picking at/ annoying them.

Although the worm is being disturbed, the sexy shrimp should pose no threat. They move around tank frequent enough.
