Is this a feather duster ? I can’t get a decent picture. I will try to get better shot soon,

Thanks seems to have 5-6 points extending out. Should I just remove it?
you can or even place a dab of gel superglue from dollar store on it and it will be the end for it

It doesn’t appear to come out of a long tube but more like a black spot if looking down on to it… I assume it’s nothing “useful” so should be removed im assuming
