Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and figuring out how to work it. I was wondering if anyone has experience with feather stars, I have one that's been going on for about 3 months, I feed my tank with zooplankton, phytofeast, oysterfeast and dts. I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with them or has advice with any other filter feeding foods that might benefit my feather star. Thanks

I have no experience in them personally. I have heard though that they are very hard to take care of and often die due to hazards like power heads. They are very beautiful though and I wish I could have one. I have heard that they rarely survive more than a year in captivity. Keep us updated and post a picture :D

i went through a few of them, when you start to see there legs coming off there dying away slowly which sucks there is nothing you can do about it. i quit buying them because they don't last that long and it's a waste of a beautiful aniaml. good luck with it. and hand feed it everynight.

I've heard they can be very difficult to keep. Very cool creatures and I could see why you want to give it a shot. Please post some pics or if possible video;)
