Ok, I finally have us setup for the following restaurant. People come from many miles away to eat at this place.

Old Country Store
56 Casey Jones Ln
Jackson, TN

We will have the Heritage room reserved under the name JARC. It is reserved from 6:30 until closing. I hope that works for everyone.

Sounds great Marcus thanks for everything you do. Sorry I didn't get back with you the other night it was extremely busy at work which as you know is great for me but bad for others

Sounds good, Marcus. I'll be there with bells on, whatever that means.

FYI: White Hall is on Dement Drive and Faith Drive. It looks like there are several parking areas near it.

We are prob just gonna have a quick glance and not stay for the lecture. I don't have my notebook ready in case there is a quiz. We'll meet you all at the restaurant.

Was looking forward to meeting everyone but something has come up and I'm not going to get to come. Maybe next time. :(

Forgot to ask this question. I notice in the tank that they had 2 trigger fish, a large grouper, and a puffer fish. However, they were asking for frags of coral. I thought those predatory fish are not reef safe?

Most of those fish are fine in a reef as far as the corals go but not so safe for inverts like shrimps, crabs and smaller fishes.
Also the "donate a frag" was more my idea to help them get some color in their tank. They did not ask for anything at all.

Thanks for joining us for our meeting at Union University. We will have to try another joint meeting again in the future.

Here is our host, JR Kerfoot.

At the moment there are only 2 - 250 watt metal halides on this tall tank and one of the halides had just blown. The one halide didn't light the tank up enough to take any in tank photos. I'll see about going back over and getting some photos when the lighting is better. He is going to budget for more powerful lighting. I will see if we can get a follow up meeting a year or so from now to see the progress.
