Can acroporas live in our aquarium without food? Amino acids or reef roids etc. And in an ulns system?

If you breed enough fish in your aquarium. I think it's possible to keeping acro without amino Acid etc.

¿En un sistema ulns también? O necesitan algo de comida extra para un crecimiento adecuado?

Without you specifically feeding them, yes. In an ULNS, maybe. Some people seem to be ok running ULNS, but they usually need to dose a bunch of stuff. I dose Cal/Alk only and feed my fish who in turn feed the acros. I maintain Nitrate around 5 and Phos around 0.02-0.05.

Yes, absolutely, fish poop, bacteria, gametes via broadcast spawning micro and macro fauna in the tank will all help feed acropora, however, most of their nutritional needs are met via the sugars produced from their symbiotic zooxanthellae.

Can acropora thrive in a ULNS? absolutely! back in the mid 2000s it was all the rage to keep a sps tank within parameters that today would qualify as a ULNS.

I run a ULNS and was not getting the coloration i was going for until I started dosing acropower and reefenergy. Alk 8, cal 420, 1350 mag, no3 0, po4 0
