Feeding for raising nitra and phosphates.

I was wondering if I'm feeding enough to raise my nitrates and phosphates. Tank has 145 gallon total volume. I feed apiece Seaweed Salad (2x4 inches) at 2 pm and 2 frozen cubes and a small piece of Reef Frenzy around 6pm.
I have ten fish in the tank
Coral Beauty
Tomini tang
Powder brown tang
6 line wrasse
Watchman goby
Anthias lyretail
Japanese swallowtail
Royal garamma
2 pajama cardinals

My nitrates are around 3 and phosphates are around .04. Is this enough to raise them? I really don't want to dose them. Thanks for any info.

Where your nitrates and phosphates? Is it a reef tank? Sorry I see your numbers.

Pellet food will give a higher phosphate boost.

Yes it's a reef tank. Mostly SPS. I would like to be around .07 to .1 on phosphates and 10 on nitrates. That's how I ran my prior tank and I had good results. Corals are lacking some color and people I've bought coral from also said to try to get it up a little higher.

If you want nutrients higher, feed more or dose them. No one can say how much your system is consuming each day to decide if the foods should be raising nutrients.. :)

Maybe look into ammonium dosing tho your numbers look okay to me. My acro tank has been an ULNS naturally and i was having to dose N and P quite often when I would get 0 on tests results. I started dosing ammonium and like what I'm seeing as far as test results. I'm still dialing in my dose amount and frequency. I never really had any luck raising nutrients by feeding and I'm Already feeding several times a day.
