feeding freshwater shrimp to saltwater fish

so, I am overloaded with cherry shrimp in my freahwater guppy tank. any reason I can't feed them to my reef tank????

No reason at all.

I tried it a couple times. I would do 5 or 6 at a time and they would always make it past the fish and to rock work to die on there own so I stopped trying.

yea, that's what seams to be happening to me too.
