I have a beautiful Blue colored Ritteri that I've had for about 6 months. Although it seems to be doing fine and is guarded day and night by Bonnie & Clyde (clowns), I lost one a couple years ago and don't want it to happen again.

Regarding feeding, does anyone know what percentage of food the Ritteri gets from the clowns vs. target feeding?

I try to target feed it a couple times per week, but I'm never absolutely positive it eats the food I spot feed it. I've been told the clowns often feed a Ritteri, but I've never actually seen that either.

Any education anyone can provide would surely make me feel better about my most prized anemone.

I've had mine for over a year and a half and I don't feed mine all that often. I think in the past 3 months I've fed it a full shrimp a handful of times. I do not want mine to grow into a monster sized ritteri. The more you feed the bigger they get from what I have read. My nem is healthy as can be. HTH

Thank you for the reply. There are so many different opinions, I start to question myself and I paid a lot of money for the Ritteri due to its size and color. I'm just paranoid of losing another one. Again, thank you.

I wouldn’t feed it at all , just give it good lighting and flow. My clowns feed mine with their poo, occasionally they will bring bits of food over to it....
