Feeding response of irritation?

OR irritation**

Howdy! I picked up some reef roids recently so decided to give spot feeding my coral a go. Everything seemed to take to it well minus the hammers which I've heard isn't unusual but I did notice that the mushrooms tightened up a LOT after theirs:

The right most one is pretty close to normal, the others have all fully sealed up. Did I irritate them (blow too hard with the baster) or is that a typical feeding response?

The zoas on the same rock have already reopened as well so wasn't sure!
